Our iron foundry has been enriched with a moulding line in furan masses. Castings weighing more than 150 kg and having wall thickness over 25 mm formaed in furan masses should achieve higher dimentional accuracy, better surface quality and lower roughness compared to the bentonite masses used by us until now. 

Among new operated devices the main elements are: the regeneration station, divided resorvoir for regenerate and fresh quartz sand with capacity 70 tons, the pneumatic transport support system and the mixer-loader for preparation of furan mass (a mixture of sand, regenerate, resin binder and catalysts) and its transport over forming positions.
